Parental Involvement Partnership

The Parental Involvement Partnership at Shibden Head aims to engage and support families to enable their child to reach their full potential.  The Parental Involvement Worker works alongside parents/carers to help them with any difficulties they may be facing, for example, around behaviour, attendance, concerns about your child’s health etc.  Support includes liaising with the School Nursing Team and other agencies.

There are also opportunities for parents and carers to volunteer in school and the Parental Involvement Worker can help if you are interested.

All parents and carers of children are automatically “Friends of Shibden Head”, our very informal P.T.A.  Although we no longer have regular meetings as we know you are far too busy, there are many different ways that you can be involved in our fundraising events, whether you have lots of time to offer or not.  It could be, for example, running a stall at the Christmas Fair, baking for a cake stall, donating a prize.  Don’t forget you can always support our events by simply helping us to prepare for it or by coming along and supporting it.  Texts and letters are sent out when help is needed for an upcoming event so please look out for these, we always really appreciate any help that you can offer.

Our Parental Involvement Worker is Mrs Tracy Raistrick.

If you want to contact Mrs Raistrick, please telephone school or call in at the office.
