School Meals

School Dinners

School dinners cost £12.50 per week (£2.50 per day starting September 2023) and are cooked in our own kitchen at school.

Payment for school meals should be via ParentPay. Dinners can be paid for weekly or half-termly. Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal as part of the Government initiative, ‘Universal Infant Free School Meals’.

School Dinner Menu

Daily menus are displayed on the board in the Dining Hall and parents are welcome to come in and look at this with their child. Meal choices can be ordered on ParentPay - this can be in advance or booked on the day before 8am.  Menus run on a 4 week cycle – please see menus below:

These are examples of the school menus, you can book on ParenPay to see the choices for the week.

Concerns or special requirements regarding your child’s diet then please let us know so we can cater for it. Our school cook and her team plan carefully to ensure a healthy, well-balanced diet is provided with plenty of choice for the children.

Packed Lunch

If you do not wish your child to have a school dinner then he/she may bring a packed lunch.

For safety reasons please do not send peanuts, hot drinks, fizzy drinks or drinks in glass containers. As children are not allowed to bring sweets to school we ask that you do not include these in packed lunches.

School Milk

Children in all year groups are able to have one-third of a pint of milk a day. There is no charge for milk for children aged under 5 or for children who are eligible for free school meals. To order milk for your child when they turn 5 please see the link below:
